2010 | Feature Film | Music Documentary | 71′
Directed by Raúl Cuevas
Produced by Nanouk Films and La Gran Evasió with the participation of TVC, PopArb Festival and Houston Party Records

The film follows the artistic creative process developed by the american folk singer Will Johnson (Centro-matic, South San Gabriel, Monsters of Folk) and the spanish catalan folkies Animic.

Over a period of 10 days they worked together to deliver a show in the Arbucies popArb Festival and a later tour in Spain. Shot in a decided observational style – with a technical team highly reduced literally inhabiting the comune-house in Collbató, Montserrat, where Animic live and compose together- the camera becomes a sensitive unnoticed witness of the close collaboration and living amongst the musicians.

A musician arrived from Texas bursts, guitar in hand, in the house where live musicians folk group most unpredictable of Catalonia. The guest is Will Johnson, author with nearly 30 years of experience. And your hosts, Anímic, a sextet formed by musicians who do not reach the 30, who open the doors of his life and his rehearsal to prepare a concert at the festival popArb. Are not known. They speak different languages . All they have in common is their music. For now.
