Ricardo has always been a fancy-free. Hedonistic, daydreamer and somewhat sarcastic, he sees his life fall apart when he suddenly loses his partner and suffers two strokes that leave him half paralysed. Alone, nearly blind and deeply depressed, he sees death as hi only escape. But before departing he wants to fulfil a dream: to see his two sons again They broke off their relationship with him more than twenty years ago. Full of mixed emotions, Adrián, his youngest son, embarks on a transformative journey of acceptanc and redemption which is captured in its entirety in this film. ‘Hágase tu voluntad’ (‘May you will be done’) tells a bittersweet story about the complexity of the bonds between parents and children and the need to accept the right of every human being to decide about th end of their own life.
